Her love of antiquities stemmed from a youth filled with countless hours antiquing with her mother, a design professional, as well as exploring the nuances of architecture with her brother-in-law, an accomplished architect. These formative memories inspired her to pursue a B.A. in Interior Design and launch a career as an independent consultant.  While raising her family in Los Angeles, Elizabeth collected art, antiques, and photography, acquired through years of world travel.

These experiences, both personal and professional, translated into an acute awareness of the infinite possibility that is present within any space. Any room, every home, is a palette just waiting to be painted. Through The Modern Antiquist, Elizabeth seeks to share her belief that with art, design, and intention, a room can come to life, and stories can not only be told, but felt by any who would walk into the space.
